“War Emergency Container” label on Fuel Pump

    Never ran into this label before. Thought it was interesting and I would share it.

    I have seen this type of fuel pump. Google says this pump is for 1941-1943. Worth many $$.

    Produced as limited run to keep cars on the road? When I read the 'War Emergency " bit I thought of a short term over boost on super/turbo charged aeroplane engine's.
