Some friends and I took a cruise down to America's hometown (Plymouth, MA) for lunch. Probably an 80 mile total day. The car runs like a sewing machine - even in its current state. I like how that choke thermostat works and am still pissed I didn't install it sooner. The ride home was a bit chilly and the heater worked like a charm. I actually had to crack a window.
I'm late to the winterizing party but sometimes life gets in the way. Next time this car moves under its own power, it'll have a new powerplant.
I interrupted the slumber to take advantage of the limited garage time my mechanic friend offered. The extraction should conclude Monday. I'm about 85% there. Everything (so far) is bagged and tagged.
I finally had my radiator guy re-core the Harrison tanks I got from another member last year. He does nice work.
I have some new ARP bolts I'm using. In fact, both those and the rods, as well as the head bolts are ARP.
