A little before and after of the engine bay. I'm happy with how it came out and also happy I didn't go down a rabbit hole.
Installed the American Autowire engine and front light/wiper motor harnesses today. Much easier than I'd anticipated. Also replicated the assembly line firewall chalk marks. Applying these was similar to trying to write while driving over a road filled with potholes.
This is going to be interesting. If I remember correctly, the previous motor was not built to Stage 1 specs or was tired out. It’s gonna feel like a new car.

Correct on both counts. 50 year old SF code motor. Tame compared to this. I love how the shifter just sits there and shakes at idle now.
Kinda. Haha I just got it home a little while ago. Idle needs adjusting but it was otherwise flawless for the 20 plus miles I put on it.
