When all else fails paint it all black. Nawww. Ive used chrysler industrial red. How about nailhead blue for block. What color is your interior? Match block to interior.
Its going back together. Have decided to keep the red block. go red on the timing cover and factory cast grey on the water pump. Disassembled the heads and sand blasted the bare castings then going high temp primer and red paint. Alumn intake and chrome valve covers. Sent several of the brackets, engine mounts and heat shields to be powder coated bright semi chrome. Headers are at Jet hot getting a chrome look treatment.
Keeping the same air cleaner and oil pan is red. Just looked up my order from Eastwood and its still processing. only been 5 days. gonna give them a call in a bit
YA better get Crank'n Briz! Word is You and Fernandos group are still plannin for GS Nats in about 6 weeks!!! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Yep. I should be ready. Also planning on doing the ROA show in Kalamazoo in June. All I need is my headers to come back fro Jet Hot. The drive shaft from Driveline Specialitys and the trans from Turbo Action and I'll be up and running.
No that would most defiantly not be cool. Least my opinion of what is cool. I've seen other cars where the owners went way over board with stuff like that and stick on letters. thought to myself "what a Tool" . Mustang owners that stick the entire JC Whittney catalog under the hood. Geesh
This is the end result. Used stainless bolts and washers where ever possible. Got the drive shaft back and hope the trans will be done this week. Turbo Action found a problem and needed me to bring in the converter to see what was up. Hoping the converter is ok. Its a Coan.
Im sure it will run fine. All I can say is better not friking leak. Thats what started this whole project.
