    It took me 46 yrs to learn that and I learned it on V8Buick!

    So whats the conversion factor for distance ? Km to miles. While were at it.

    Same. 100 km is 62 miles. So 10 km is 6.2 miles, 20 km is 12.4 miles.

    So ×.62 works for distance too. ? You know what I cant stand is when you buy a quart of milk. And you look at the rack for the price and all tbe prices are in liters.

    Yes, works for distance too. Because speed is a measurement of distance covered, so we're still comparing the same things to each other, just with speed we do it in a matter of distance covered within one hour.

    Not to get too far off-topic, but speaking of speed: A Boeing 787-9 owned by Virgin Atlantic Airlines hit a groundspeed of 801 mph last Monday. This is a new record for a non-supersonic commercial airliner. The pilot found an amazing 230 mph jetstream tailwind. My personal best is 679 mph in a Jet Blue A 320 from Fort Myers to Boston a year ago.
