1832FEF6-1DC5-4A92-83EC-7D80E4ABB8DC.jpeg I spotted a rare Electra Convertible in a BJ’s parking lot in Haverhill Mass today. I can count the Electra Convertibles I have seen in my life on one hand. I am not an Electra expert. Guessing 68-70? Anyone know?

The grid on the taillights is a telltale '69 feature

That car still is impressive and eye catching after 50 years. Timeless design or maybe the sharp color combo with the white top.
Obviously well cared for and loved by its owner. Good catch on your drive through and thanks for sharing!

I agree with my late father; the ‘69 Electra is one of the slickest looking cars ever. He bought a four door hardtop new but loved the coupe and convertible too.
    That one is nice-great find!

Compare it to the Nisyotda Mallhopper it’s facing. It’s like Halle Berry kissing Billy Bob. Like a princess kissing the wrong frog.

Nice to see another Electra ragtop out there being used as a driver. Mine comes out again tomorrow...

I agree a classic look. Amazing the car is originally from a local dealer nearby in Mass. Not something you see in a parking lot much for sure. Check out the AAA sticker on the car. An old timer for sure. Another really under appreciated car you never see is the 70 Riviera. Amazing looking car.

    Who was the dealer?

Cannot make out the script, I grew up in the Merrimack Valley.

...love that huge expanse of sheet metal on coupes/verts...4 doors just don't have the look...

I agree. Four doors are for soccer moms. Is there still such a thing?
