A suicide Lincoln is on my list of things to have, this one was a '62 which is what I really want. Kid was trying to talk me into doing a "quick, cheap build and flip" on it with him, with me doing the work and him providing the parts and splitting the profit. I told him nothing on one of those is quick or cheap, and by the time we're done we'd be bassakwards in it. Supposedly runs, I wanted to open the doors so bad but the backs were frozen shut (it was about 15 the day we were there).....

Oh, and welcome back to the fray from your sabbatical, Shawn. Nice to "see" you :)

Maybe there's a reason there's so many of these left and not so many of those..... ;):D

    Just kidding.....

EDIT: I do know of a stash that is close to this in '60-'86 Chevys, at least as far as trucks go. Parts, I can't think of another hoard I've come across that comes even close, and I've been to a lot of places like this.

Not in that stash, all 1/2 to 3/4 tons. PM me if you're looking for something specific. Lots of old farm trucks and wood haulers around. I just found a nice '65 Viking for a guy that's going to put it on a '13 Duramax chassis.

You understand Lucas that this is how it starts right? :D You start visiting these hoarders, bringing stuff home year after year. Then one day you wake up and you realize your "that guy". And you start getting young guys knocking on your door wanting to look around. Its the whole circle of life thing :D

I know if I went out there for a visit, I'd have to bring the trailer.

I've been "that guy" for a few years hahahahaha....I just usually have a buyer for the stuff I go get before I get it, but I do have two "bedrooms" in my house full of stuff....and a shed........and part of the garage.....and my buddy's shop's attic.......

I've told you before, come on out Mike :D. I've got you covered.....

I've got friends in the Dakotas, and another one in Red Lodge. I'm planning a trip. Just not sure when it'll happen.

Thats the difference between the "Revolution" and the "Movement" ... One moves forward and the other keeps going around and around... ws

Can you see if there is a 48 Ford pu. It's my dad's bucket wish to have one.

That one that is down 2 pics from the Lincoln is a 51 or 52 (I'm 90% it's a '51) and is a runner/driver supposedly. Same body style as a '48, different grilles and a few little things. That's the only one of that vintage out there, is pretty rusty. I wouldn't buy it to restore it, I'd only pay for it for a functioning beater. Way too rough. If he's just looking for something like that and a 51 will do I'll get you his number.....or I can just post the ad tomorrow.

The chevy motor is easy its have a DZ suffix if its a '69 302, if its a 4 bolt '70 it be a CTB or CTCwith the partial vin both stamped on the passenger front between where the head rests and the water pump.

Looking at the spread bore intake, I'm fairly sure it's just a 350. The 302s had 3310 square bore Holleys if I remember correctly, and the intake looks original with the rubbers between it and the block. Still good for free, but not nearly as cool.
