Just throwing ths out there , dont care if it sells or not really F1c-94 good for 1400hp Around 150-200miles Bracket, pullies, belts, hardware, oil, intake tube and filter etc everything you need minus the carb and hat. Price is firm $3900 + ship or trade for hot rod parts, cars, engines etc.
Horsepower ain't cheap fellas , surely I'm not the only one who wants to go fast! I'm 100% fine with breaking it up in interest free payments if that helps you. I could actually use a couple of nice solid engines for other projects.
It was making 5 to 6lbs and probably around 900hp b4 I took it apart, engine ran 10.80s NA and I just bolted the blower on. On a stock or mild low compression 400hp 455 you could make 600hp on pump 93
Blowers love compression, but 9.0 to 9.75 gives you a good tuning window with aluminum heads. I was running 11.2 but was on corn.
So. Much. Want. It boggles my mind youre selling this setup to UPGRADE Ethan, I'd give a nut for.....wait.....you wouldnt take a nut in trade would you???? haha. Good luck with the sale, that's a baaad piece. Wish I had the cash, but even then I don't think my short block would survive it.
Ethan, Would 10.5:1 with aluminum heads be too hard to get the tuning right? Would the tuning window be too small, or nonexistent? It would be on a 462 with forged flat top pistons, Hemi Killer cam, 241, 241 and 498, 498 on 112* Basically stock bottom end: resized shotpeened rods, stock un-turned crank. It would be in a 4000 lb car with TH400, 3:73 rear Not in line, just weighing options... Philip T.
With Meth injection you would be 100% in the clear on 93 octane With e85 %100 in the clear With 93octane abd no meth the timing would need to be around 24° and keep an eye and ear on it. Could always throw a thicker gasket on there too I also have an AIS alcohol injection setup in stock on the shelf, that would be my recommendation , as far as the shortblock goes, depends on what you want to do with it, put sticky tires on it hit a good track and lean on it you will more than likely find it limits, on the street just messing around and having fun you won't hurt it , I ran stock rods and believe me you can have TONS of fun under 5500rpm on the street. The 325/50 drag radials I ran were no different than being on 245/60's absolutely useless, but oh so much fun
If it sells I will probably do twins or mayyybe a big single. I honestly wouldn't mind having the money to do the more pressing issues like the cage, backhalf etc etc, the Tomahawk will 100% for sure be boosted tho. The blower is so damn cool and nasty sounding and to be honest I would rather it be blown but I gotta be realistic in getting the new car together...
Ok, you got me!! I'm in line...now. I'm on the road but I'll PM you as soon as I get a chance later this evening. Philip T.
After much consideration and study, I'm out. Gonna go the twin turbo route. And a little bump today...
