Got my call today as well, too bad I'll be in TX when it arrives and won't be able to play with it till I get home. But I'll have it for Norwalk!
Just got the email today. They are shipping out my Stage 1 350 intake and everything else I ordered. I wish I had saw this before I ordered. Ordered it about the same time this thread started. Not sure how much of a difference there is between the 2.
I'll probably still have my Stage 1 intake for Norwalk, but that's ok, I wanna try and wring out as much as I can outta it, then switch to the SP3.
I like a thinking man. :Smarty: Mark has the right idea. Get the combo you have running right and then step up and see what it really does for you. Anybody who thinks a single plane intake is going to take a 14 second car and make it a 12 second car is not thinking.
We still have not received the production run of the intakes. The one's that are being offered are the first sample run. There is not much change between these and the production run. These first few intakes did not have a radius from the carb pad into the runners. The Dual plane didn't either but all our other single planes do. The next run will. This can be done by hand. None of the intakes have been matched ported in anyway. Gary thought it would be better right now to let the folks match them to there heads. I know intakes have been cast, we will be waiting on machine time again.
I don't think it's going to get me in the 12s, I want a clean pass and go from there. But I figure if I can get it installed and attempt to dial in with the assistance of knowledgeable Buick folk at a large gathering would be ideal.
Just got off thr phone and placed order i was told they only have 4 proto types and may change the plenum a lil so not quit done or ready to ship yet will need different intake bolts batches of 50
I want to call up and ask where I am on the list but I feel silly asking when I haven't even taken my block to the machine shop yet
