M and E Auto Body Repair just stepped up to the plate and put the CASH on the barrel head and sponsored the class for $300 CASH! See first post for payouts.
Getn close , dropping heads off for valve job tomorrow, rear is done , shortblock is just waitn on the heads, it will be together now to whether or not its gonna be ready to deliver the goods idk, it better run 10.80s at least or I'll take up knitting and gardening or something ha
What is the tech rule on roll bars? Is there a cutoff for having to have one in order to race in GSR or in any class during the event?
What race track is this at? I am sure far from me given the people that replied, but it looks like a blast!
:laugh: Took a few years of ironing b4 I even saw a 10 slip and that was with current combo. It's easy to put together a combo, hard to fine tune it. Good luck and looking forward to seeing ya. FYI.....not a good time of the year to take up gardening:grin:
yea they never seem to run what you expect, but with 200lb less weight , 75 to 100 more hp , more verter, more gear, and the rear suspension additions along with loosening up the front, its gotta be faster. 10.90s off the trailer.,,,,, you may wanna bring some crow tho, I may have to eat a little ha
:laugh::laugh: no crow, just apple pie moonshine that I will be bringing........and you can drink that:beers2:
This is the GS Nationals, October 15-18, Beech Bend Raceway Park, Bowling Green, KY. Be there of be square LOL :bglasses:
could be running a D/SA in GSR and maybe show it too need some test and tune coming from the west coast
Testing went well this past weekend so we should be there with the procharged skylark as long as I fit the rules.
You'll fit right in ,bring it and do work, looks like GSR is gonna be a success, maybe one day if attendance comes around we can have another heads up class, I always wanted to participate in GSE but wasn't in the cards. To anyone interested or thinking about bringing a car to run please do so if at all possible, time to give the Nats a much needed shot in the Arm
I 'm towing in from Seattle so we see how this goes first time back to the show and race! you guys are going have to give me some pointer on BG I'm coming light . car, jack, and some hand tools 2600 miles each way
