I'm abandoning my project of a BBB in my car so the following is for sale. First let me state that all prices do not include shipping. However, I can bring any or all of it to BG in a couple weeks. In addition, if you see any two or several items you want I can pack them together to save some shipping costs. Lastly, if you see a bunch of it you want I'd be willing to bend a little on a package deal. 1) Complete `67 430 motor. Reportedly 65,000 miles but I can't veryify that. Who built the carb and what was used? Man do you have allot of stuff! What changed your mind? Are the stage 1 springs the same for a 350? Scott
Bill, I was wondering if you could find a UPS or post office and ship from BG whenever you get there to help cut shipping cost? Lol, kidding. interested in the 10-10 or the core crank. I'll pm more. Thanks, John.
I got the carb with one of the engines. It had been rebuilt years ago and the guy told me it was a great carb but had been sitting for 14 years so I assumed it needed a kit so I bought one. I took it apart and was amazed at how clean it still was but I put the kit and a new float in because, what the heck, I had already had it. I used it on a Pontiac 400 for short time and it appears to work just fine, no leaks. I don't know if the springs are the same for a 350. Perhaps someone else will chime in on this. I kinda hate to admit it here but I want to go with an LS motor next. What I really want to do is turbocharge one.
All kidding aside, I am meeting a guy from Rockford, IL in BG to deliver a GTO I just restored for him. If it will help I can take parts along and give them to him to ship from Rockford. Might save a few bucks.
Ok Briz, you're first on the timing cover. Here's a better shot of the three throttle cable brackets that are plated, and I'm not even sure which one goes to what engine. I have other misc. brackets but none are replated.
I was thinking of Alt, Power steering, A/C type brackets in Chrome. My Riv does not use that type of throtle cable brackets. Sorry for the confusion. Id still like the timing cover and oil pan if it comes my way.
