It's about 2 hours or so from Queens NY. How long does it take you to get to the city? The Long Island guys usually end up traveling together. We can meet up.
About 2 1/2 hrs from Milford. 95/Rte 15 to 287 to the Garden State, then Rte 1, 95 for short hop, and you're basically there! Or you could hook up with Larry and the rest of the NY guys!
i am in clinton, never driven out of state with the gs,this would be the look on my face the whole way over:eek2:
Just hope in your GS & go. You won't regret it!!!!! If you have ANY problems we will all be with you. Hell, even my 92 yr. old Mom is going!!!!!! Tom T.
Plenty of places to crash here. Bring a sleeping bag. And an appetite. Oh, and a thirst for beer and cars.
I'm giving it some serious thought. Even drove the Wildcat yesterday to see what it thought. Man....I miss being 20. I'da drove there and back twice in one weekend just to say hi. :3gears:
Back in college dayz, I'd ride 1000 miles from Buffalo to Long Island and back on the weekend just to ... err... ummm... smell my girlfriends' perfume o No: ou:
And Tom's mother is the best mechanic in the club- heck, she taught Tom everything he knows! If you have car trouble she'd be happy to crawl under your ride on the side of the highway and have you fixed up in a jiffy!
... and it was driven in a '69 Sky with a L6 chevy, St300, and 12-bolt posi. If you saw a picture of her, you'd understand immediately :eek2: :Brow:
Will the Twirling Seeds be making an appearance this year ou: Jeff let me know what else you need I'll cover it. :beers2:
Yeah, Mom, how do you think I came up with the imagination to fix Paul's busted pushrod with a VW clutch release rod??? Mom's insight & ability to THINK!!!! Crafty ole timer!!!!! Tom T.
OK, let the weather watch begin! Currently, weather.com sez 68 deg and partly cloudy. That being said, there's been years in the past where the day before the forecast was for rain and it was sunny instead! Yards must know some Native American rituals to keep the rain gods at bay! I think it involves running around his back yard in his tighty whiteys.
That get together sounds like a good time. Looks like you guys are psyched to shake off cabin fever. Yardley, has anyone ever skydived into your backyard. If I made the trip up there that is how I'd make my entrance. Tell Alan to keep the top down for my pinpoint landing right in his back seat.
