This fello is selling his 67 Lark Project. 300-2, 2 spd tranny...and yes, its a runner, driver, and stops OK. Has a nice bunch of original trim including original "wheel skirts'!? body stainless appears to be all there, interior pretty-much a goner. NICE solid chassis, good bumpers, headlite besels, grille etc...He wants this gone! Hes asking $1200 BUT... since I am the only one he's talked to, that actually KNOWS BUICKS...he asked me to make an offer for it?? NOWHERE NEAR $1200, however, IF anyone out there in Buick land needs parts, contact me. Your feedback as to the PARTS YOU want/need, is how I'll justify making an offer to him. :beers2: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Are you talking rear quarters Tom? I'd be interested in the dog leg of that crumpled driver's front fender. Too bad the decklid is no better than mine - or I'd be interested. Possibly interested in the letters, tri-shield badge, and quarter scripts if they're not too pitted. Best Wishes,
Dennis, can you ask him what's up with the white GMC in the backgorund?? I've been waiting on a 68 Chevy C-10 custom for almost 8 months and I like the looks of that one in the back. -Josh
Yo Josh...I talked to the Buick fello just now and JUST MAYBE, that 68 P/U "COULD BE' available....he will get me the contact number for the owner. PM me your tele number so I can callya when I finds out some'n..OK? NEXT: Joe..the tail light bezels on this 67 are somewhat pitted, sorry. NEXT: TOM, I'ma gonna hafta get down there and snap more pix of the quarters on both the 66 and 67 ...maybe sometime saturday?!? :beer Wheelz, Tamp aBay
ANYONE ELSE? so far, there is not enuf sufficient interest for me to make a reasonable offer on the cars I've posted here: 67 Lark, 66 Lark and 1940 Special. I am in communication with the seller and he tells me he's giving up his storage facility soon and he doesnt want to deal with parting them out on-site. So these gotta go as a whole. Im sure you understand with all the effort that goes into moving them, loading them onto a trailer or? haul them off somewhere and strip them...well, you know, it just takes time and money. Unfortunately I'm unemployed at this moment, so YES, I DO have the time. ou: but NOT the :dollar: :dollar: .:ball: PLEASE let me know if you need parts from these cars..I'd hate to see them go to the crusher without AT LEAST ATTEMPTING to remove the good parts..ou: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Might be interested in the arm rest bench in the 67. I see its ripped up but how does it seem under the covers? I bought one and when I took the covers off it fell apart. Must've been exposed to the weather and rusted away so I'm a little concerned about that. Also might be interested in the front bumper off the '66 if its a good usable core. Oh, and that pass side arm rest pad looks good. Interested in any of those that aren't cracked.
I may be interested in the wheels & tires. Is there any tread on the tires? Are there 4 matching wheels? Also, I may be interested in the "Hang-On" AC. I think it's going to be a lot of trouble to install factory AC in my 65 wagon. :idea2: Also, the windshield wiper motor if it's a "washer", too. o No: Oh heck, Dennis I just need to call you. ou: Maybe Sunday afternoon. :TU: BTW: That 300 motor looks different than my 300 motor. It looks like the motor I took that 4-bbl intake off of at LKQ last fall. (the one you have now)
Hey Brad, I put myself in line for that in post #3 - "tri-shield badge". Let's see what happens. Best Wishes,
Joe..the decklid on the 66 isn't too bad If I remember...IS it the same as a 67? o No: AND Jeff...are you looking for a set of BUICK RALLY WHEELS? 14 INCHERS?? I gotta phew. and that 67 motor...well, the valve cover decal reads 300? COULD it be a 340? Guys, It looks as tho I may have to meet up with the seller once again first of this week for more pix/details. Promise to keep Ya'll posted! :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Dennis, the 66 and 67 trunk lids are completely different. The 66 is more like the 65. It's got a small lip at the back, and a tail pan that goes across between the tail lights. The 67 trunk lid contours the tail lights and goes all the way down to the bumper. -Josh
wellallrightythen...:beer THANX JOSH! I've just been edjumakated on 66/67 stuff! BTW. for those interested, I am meeting with the seller this morning and will attempt to get more details and pix for this 67, the 66 AND the 40 Special. ..stay tuned! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
