When I worked at the Post Office, we used Ford rotors for our FFV's. On the inside, where the min thickness was cast into the rotor, there was epoxy covering something up. We chipped it out one night and cast in the Chinese made rotor was "Made in USA". Those rotors were like that for years and probably still are. I don't know because I retired. One of the other mechanics wife worked for NASA and they were at a convention in Florida. The mechanic was talking to a Canadian man that works for a company in Canada that makes fluorescent light fixtures. He said the last thing they do to them before boxing them up is put a Made in USA sticker on them.
