Li Listened to that LP for many hours and completely wore out the cassette tape back n the day. Still have some of their concert shirts. Old Kiss Army recruit
I subbed to the few i missed im still dropping a episode every week. I did miss this week just ran out of time. I should have one out though sometime this coming week.
I have merch not trying to sell it on here but if you guys have any id love to trade a sticker for one of yours. I have already with adam. I put them on my shop door so they get advertised in my videos.
Well, I met goal of making Google pay me for my YouTube channel. I got my first payout last week but I don't think I'll be quitting my day job anytime soon. Now I'll have some stickers made and also afford to pay for YouTube premium, so I don't have to see the ads.
Nice! I'm getting a whopping $50 a month....google doesn't send a payment until it hits $100, though. Gotta make that paycheck last
at least you guys making money. Im still not monetized yet. Its def hard work to get there. Id be happy to make 50 or a hundred a month.
Congrats ! What was the more difficult to reach , the subscribers or the number of hours ? Here's a video I made last week from FB page friends
Getting to the 1,000 subscribers took far longer than reaching the minimum 4,000 watch hours. My theory is that anyway can watch your videos but only a person that has set up a YouTube account can subscribe. My videos appeal to old men (proven by the YouTube data) and that group is very unlikely to have a YouTube login.
im having more issues with subscribers than watch hours. I only have 297 right now but have 1100 watch hours. Most my videos are 20 mins or longer though. How long has everybody been doing there channel? Im at a year right now.
I started my effort 12/28/22 when I posted the '70 GS Dealer training video. Since then, I've posted 33 more videos over the last 16 months.
I think I'd do more with mine and make more substantial content if I was better at the editing part. Find it tough to sit here for hours and play with the program. Just not in my DNA.
I completely agree with your statement as it applies to me as well. I'm using some subpar, free software that is not making it easy.
Wondershare Filmora is like $70 a year, and comes with a ton of free media (music, images, sound bytes, etc). It has saved my butt several times.
Trying to build the channel feels like an uphill climb through cow sh!t sometimes. Although once in a while I get a video that takes off and really helps bring in subscribers. One way to get views up is to create a short that asks a question that makes viewers interact/comment/gripe about what you are doing, etc. The more people engage, the more it comes up on others' "suggested" list. I just did a short about an SBC loose rocker and asked them what they thought it could be. One week into it, I have 12k views and 89 comments. https://youtube.com/shorts/rm_n872pCto
