I run one of those also. Lots of fun to make up stories about what it is at car shows. For me it is all about have 20 psi on the gauge before I start the motor.
Glad to hear others are using them! In my opinion, they're the cheapest insurance you can buy to help a BB Buick live!
Yesterday we took the Somerset to Virginia Motorsports Park to get my license passes done. Car ran great with a best pass of 9.20 @ 145. Thanks to Bubba Crouch and his son for running to Richmond to pick me up a new fuel pump. Also thanks to Matt Wirt and Ron Schaecher for all their help in getting the car down the track. There is a lot left in the car but that is for the next test session. I also need to get my torque converter re-stalled for sure. We were losing 12% from the hit and 7% at the stripe.
Alan congats on the license:TU: Sounds like you are ready for BG... We just got our new converter also as the other had a great deal of loss at the finish also. Hope to see you soon
Glad we could help. The hit was really soft. I thought it might be more than 12%. You did a good job & car went straight & true. Car has more in it. Not bad for 1st time out & a mild motor.
