I'm about to order a reproduction Positive battery cable assy. from Todd. The only thing holding me back is that it's intended for '69~'71 cars and not my '67. I would think that it should work on my car. Does anyone have any reason to believe or practical experience to prove otherwise?
Make sure it has the right end for the battery terminal (Buick switched to a Side Post Battery around May of 1971). I don't think the 67 positive cable used the engine mount/insulator. I think it used the 2 plastic clips mounted to the frame.
'67's used the mount with insulator, my car has that on it already. I'm just concerned about the length of the replacement cable. I'm thinking the '67 should be approximately the same as the later models.
I think I ordered mine through TPP and it listed as same part number and fit good plenty long enough.
Thanks for the reply.....I just checked both TPP and Lectric Limited and they are 2 different part numbers. Judging by the pics on LL, it appears the only difference is the black sleeve that's on the 1970 version. I think i'll just take a few mile ride over to LL and pick one up.
