I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times but which position is the wire for the switch pitch and which is the kickdown on a 65 switch? also where can I get the proper plastic plug adapter to hold the wires?
Top/horizontal is the SP The vertical is the kickdown. I have never found a repop for the connector. I just used spade terminals, unless you are showing for points, then you'll need to ask around and try and find one.
I gave up looking decades ago as well...until today! There is HOPE! https://www.jegs.com/i/American-Autowire/073/500176/10002/-1 https://bluewireautomotive.com/prod...ck-down-plug-pigtail-repair-harness-bwa500176 Devon
The truth is, it doesn't matter which connector is which except with the original plug and wiring, and the wiring can easily be installed wrong on the case connector inside the transmission. These cars are 50 years old, lot's a stuff happens, just sayin.
Looks like the others will work, but I recently found this from Lectric Limited for my 67 https://www.lectriclimited.com/transmission-kickdown-harness-105847 They show that they have one for 65, but don't have a picture on the website (cost is cheaper than the 67 @ $33)
