Here's a link to pics from our show June 16 2012 The first three pics are best of show a 57 wagon -Amazing car then a pic of Peoples choice . Then all the others. Several board members cars are pictured. http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa148/woody760photo/2012 buick open/
Great pics,i see a few cars i've never seen there. The orange 65 convert is an eye grabber....best modified? What did Jeff bring? I didnt see anything i'd guess was his. Sad i missed it,Portland is on the calander if i'm healed by then.:TU:
My convert is on the other side of the mountains and the hardtop is missing the corner piece of the drip rail... so I had to show up sans Buick this year. I saw a lot of new (to me) Buicks though... nice cars this year.
That orange car showed up late and left a bit early and I think won second, Someone sunk a lot of money into it even though not my taste. Guess what Jamie the top when up is the same color as the car. Lets just say it hurts your eyes. Several new cars this year like you say.
Roy Thanks for sharing the pictures!! It was great seeing everyone and nice to meet a few new people. The cars were great as always - there are always some that are just outstanding. It also gave me the chance to research some details for mine. :TU::TU:
Here are some more if y'all didn't get enough of these awesome Buicks. My photos: http://gngs.smugmug.com/Cars/Buick/20120616-All-Buick-Open/23605023_vwQ5tk I'm really sorry if I didn't get all the cars, sometimes I just mentally skip the ones I've seen a lot or aren't as interested in. But it was a great day - esp for photos!! Overcast and warm, it felt like east coast humid. I love it! Also sorry if I didn't get to say hi to all the folks I know there, I was in a huge rush to leave and get ready (I left for Philly about 2 hours from when I originally posted this). The theme of my pics is interiors and the materials. And there are some like the GN engine compartment that might seem obsessive or excessive, but I'm about to put mine back together and it's great reference material.. esp such a sano car!! So perfect. Hope to see you all in Portland or perhaps the Nationals! Randy
I knew that would rub ya... but seriously, my tri-snorkel air cleaner isn't finished yet either.
Nice shots, thanks for sharing. Lots of nice iron out there. That red 71-boattail (photo #25) was right next to me at the ROA meet in Monterey. Sweet car.
Here is a composite I made from the 2012 Puyallup show. I think I got all of the years right. It was a great show. Steve.
