The best way to hold your spark plug wires is with the factory type holders, nearly everyone agrees with that. With Stock steel valve covers, you just use the factory hardware and a set of the wire holders.. you can still get the 4 wire holder. Here is the example available from "help products" at the local parts joint.. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...=Search_N0606_1060524_1511&pt=N0606&ppt=C0150 The issue has been when wanting to use this setup with cast Alum valve covers. The lower factory stud bolts really are not long enough.. I have gone thru all different kinds of solutions to that issue, all of them a major PITA.. Then customer walks in with these.. so simple they are elegant. He made these up at work, just fooling around, for his motor.. it's an industrial grade electrical connector, with a 5/32 pin soldered into it, and then bent 90*.. with the right size hole for the valve cover bolt. We used them on his motor, made a slight design change, and then added a full set of Stainless valve cover bolts, and are now offering them for sale. You get the 4 stud mounts, 10 stainless bolts, and Priority mail shipping to the US for $24.00 Add the above plastic wire holders and you have your looms setup for less than $30. I have used them a couple times now, been on and off with the covers on the dyno, endorse them, and am ready to offer them up to the community. I have 5 sets sitting here on my desk, ready to go. $24 Paypal at jim@trishieldperformance .com or PM me with a CC number and the details. Or you can give me a call at the number below.
