Hello, I need to update the brake booster and master cylinder on my 65 Riviera. The car has the single master cylinder and has drum brake front and rear. I have called Summit and OPGI and what they recommend looks like it would be to long to fit without hitting the inner fender. It looks like a 11" would hit the valve cover. Has anyone made this switch and what system fits the best. Thanks Dave
You can get the brake booster restored by Power Brake Booster Exchange. They came painted black, so cost aint bad. They are quick too. Nothing wrong with the single master -- you can get it rebuilt too. I think Cars Inc. offers that service.
I had the original rebuilt by Cardon and it still did not work. I thought it would be easier to just update the system. Thank you for your reply. Dave

I have a brand new booster and double reservoir that might work for you,I done some research and thought this is what I needed for my 63 lesabre,but the booster barely hit on the two stiffening 90's on the booster bracket,these are brand new.i will get part numbers tomorrow,I believe they are for a 66 wildcat.
I swapped an 11" booster and dual MC from a 67 Wildcat into my 64 Wildcat. It works great and is safer. IDK if the booster will work in your Riviera. You may have to stay with a small booster but go with the dual MC from a 67 Riviera or Wildcat.
Hey Joe~ Nice tech article! Which reservior is supposed to be plumbed to the front brakes; the one closer to the booster or the closer to the front bumper?
IF for 4 wheel drum brakes either will do. BUT usually the rear goes to the rear & the front goes to the front. Tom T.
