Hello Buick Enthusiast. Looking for help locating Jose Evans. He recently did some work on my car and unfortunately I hate to do this but he doesn’t answer my calls anymore. I had a really bad experience dealing with him. He had my car for over 8 months getting my Engine Re done. Not only did my car sit out side the whole time enduring the elements but a lot of my original Engine parts were missing by the time my car was finally completed. I also had extensive fender damage and paint damage. Also when I drove the car home after supposedly being completed I noticed a lot of Oil leaking from under the car. He also failed to properly put coolant in the Radiator as well as Transmission Oil. I gave him $1,250 for a Posi Unit , control arms and a rear sway bar that was never installed. All I’m looking for is compensation for the Body Work and Paint damage and the money I gave him for the other parts that were never installed. Any help on how to contact him would be greatly appreciated as I can’t get a hold of him anymore. Last time I spoke to him was before Christmas when I called him from a different telephone number which he quickly answered and gave me some lame excuse and promised to call me back which he never did.
Have someone else set up a day to talk to him about building an engine You show up with him Ask him how his day is going Let him know you have your fighting boxers on
The original poster has also posted this hunt for Jose Evans on many other Facebook groups . I am sure he knows you are looking for him and that he doesn't want to be found .
If you find him or his business, file a justice of peace court's action. It's $20,000 or less. Collecting may be difficult, but less difficult than not using the courts. A judgement becomes a recorded legal debt, and several remedies can be levied against him or his business and assets.
Don't forget "Guido the Killer Pimp" he'll have Jose working his a$$ off paying money owed.. Or else.
You can use that judgement to basically wipe your rear. If they are scammers they already have been there and know how to not have money in any active accounts. Good luck...
Sorry to hear... but I understand. We got taken similarly on an engine rebuild on my '71 Skylark right before I got into a snow-induced accident followed by military move orders. I then got taken and bent over by Streetside Classics in Dallas/Fort Worth with my current '70 GS 455. They were a$$holes...and that's a long story over a beverage... Good Luck! -MIG
