Does anyone have a 1984-87 Buick Regal w a Buick 455 engine, 200-4R (original to car but built) transmission & TA long tube headers ? I am curious to know if I want to keep the factory column shifter will I run into any clearance issues ?
I have a 1985 Regal with 470 and beefed up 200-4R. I’m using the shorty headers with 3” down pipes. I used the column shifter and the hookup was spot on. I see no problem using long tube headers, there’s plenty of room to clear the linkage. Hope this helps. Roger On the Eighth Day God Created Buick
