This year "IS" almost over, that means we need to get our rear ends in gear. We hope to start getting prices and production dates for the cast 455 heads in the next few weeks. We are already going full steam ahead. When we get those prices we will know what a race 350 head will cost, billet and cast.
I would be in on a stroked SBB too with high rpm - I actually spoke with Gary Paine about doing such one for the street car, and just go some 10´s.
We are in the process of stocking all motor parts, if anyone wants a specific part we will expedite them. Going to start casting my blocks and heads by end of year. Cranks, Rods, pistons have been ordered
That's Great News Ken! I'll jump in line for Block, Crank, Pistons & Rods order. I sent you mail with this list of items. Will need to get in touch to discuss available parts specifications and pricing. Thanks, Larry
Billet Cranks, 4.4 stroke, 3.25 mains, 2.2 rods, 8 counterweights under $3,000.00. We can have mains and rods turned for additional stroke or de stroke or SBC Rods, 3.00“mains and balance for additional costs.
That is the goal. Ken bought a bunch of crankshafts with only 1 crank sold when he gets them. If you want a crank give Ken a call as the wait will be short if none at all when they are done.
I’ll just speak for myself here but I think the most sought after part right now for the Buick big block community is a head with water in it that flows mid 400 cfm out of the box! Enough of buying heads and then turning around and spending a fortune to have them ported and flowed. And then a nice intake to complement their heads where you don’t have to use goofy adapter plates to make them work. Where are we at on this? Last discussions on these from a year ago where we were waiting to put water jackets in those.
Kenne-Bell went the other way for a 397”, I don’t know anyone who has done what your asking. John Everett May have input but we won’t be doing that anytime soon .
