I'm contemplating using fuel injection on a 455 with flat top wisco pistons. Machine work is already done, using Molnar rods, about .010 deck and iron Stg 1 heads. Calculating to about 11.6 to 1 static. Its going into a wagon for the street, and NHRA Sportman Class racing. (high 11's and up) I've got many years of experience with Holley and Q-jets too. But I'm thinking for this project, its time to use FI. What's your opinion? THX!!
Yes they are very good these days! Sump the tank and then new fuel lines, all the way, and you are set! Do good wiring and shielding, that’s the Achilles heel of EFI installs. Go with Holley!
