These earth tones get a bad rap since they look so dull when the paint is old and faded. But it’s been nice to revive several of them in the last couple years. This one, Burnished Saddle, and the Lime Green 69. They look so good when fresh.
Need to get my Stage 1 finished and park these 2 side by side. Hard top harvest gold exterior and burnished saddle bucket interior.
I agree,..We can plan on it sometime. I really like the Colors, but I'm partially Color Blind. Jim Jaeger
Just picking away at this one, since I’m on super double top secret duty with another car. I needed the engine and transmission off my shop floor, so in they went today.
Might that "super double secret duty... car" be a '70 Stage 1 4-sp? I understand if you cannot confirm or deny.
You are right about the color. When dull and washed out they look awful, but that color is really sharp. Adam, Excellent work and time management. More Motivation for me to get back in the garage. I spent 7 hours arranging the garage today and need another day to finish. Then move the car over.
Good luck to both of us ! Turning in so I can get a good start tomorrow and make it happen GS Nationals only about 60 Days away.....
Thanks guys. It's always a nice milestone when I can get that engine stuffed in the car. Dano, come see the secret one at MCACN
