I just finished the paint work on a Honda CBR 600 today. I've had it for a while, as I've been working 60-70 hrs a week at my "day job." So it's nice to finally get this one completed. It needed all new body work, and subsequently, paint. He had an old helmet that he wanted to have me shoot with the same color, so I sprayed some paint in the general direction of said helmet. It had some goofy design on it that still shows through on the paint, which is why it looks wavy in the photo. I had just scuffed it and shot it for him as a favor. He is going to do the finish work on it, so it still looks a bit rough. I also painted a gas tank for a guy last Fall for his Yamaha R6...same black color. It is a really interesting black, as it only shows the metallic flake in bright sunlight...really deep. My next door neighbor is a motorcycle mechanic and he is really good about sending business my way if someone is asking about paint work. I love my neighbors!
Thanks, guys! I'm too much of a weenie to get on one of those things. I'll work on them all you want, though!
