I have a 455 Buick engine blower manifold adaptor made by Cragar in the 70's. I would like to sell but don't know what it is worth. Any suggestions?
In reference to the above 455 Buick blower manifold adaptor post. This is the response from Cragar to my e-mail I sent them concerning the above photos of manifold within the last couple of days. ---------------- Afternoon Larry, Unfortunately not good news. Please see response 2 responses from engineering: In the past, Cragar Industries licensed their name to many different manufacturers of vehicle components. This is one of those and it was made and sold by a different company. I do not have any details about it available to me This is the intake adapter for a Cragar Supercharger (“blower”) for a 455 big block Buick engine. Cragar hasn’t offered blowers since the late 70’s and a Buick 455 is a fairly rare engine these days, so I’m afraid his best bet is eBay or putting a request out on a Cragar Facebook forum. Sorry we couldn't be more help. Thank you for your business! Michelle Green Carlstar Customer Service Ph: 800-827-1001
Just an FYI if your planning to buy this to use it.. the original manifold used to build this was an RB Mopar, so there is no provisions for a water crossover in that manifold. I agree, interesting tabletop/wall art conversation piece. JW
Are those pop off valves in the bottom of the intake? I assume if this manifold is based off the Mopar manifold it would vent to atmosphere? It would be some cool wall art! I’d be in line if it made it this far
There's a 364 Nailhead on FB Marketplace that has a Cragar bellhousing on it. I guess it's for the Dynaflow transmission that's included in the deal. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1073797226491892
See Larry was a guest. No more word. I need one for mock up. But it would be nice to find correct manifold.
