71 8.5 rebuild

    Why do you say that?? Are you looking at the applications? The 8.5's all take the same carriers.

    i did not know that. if you look at applications it says it fit hummers and a saab.

    The Hummer I could believe, the Saab? Maybe they used GM 8.5's.

    Hi Brian, I cant find US gear listed online anywhere. I have an 8.5 verified by local Differential shop. They have 3.42 and 3.73 gears available from Yukon or whoever. I am going to run a 30 spline axle and Eaton Tru Track would prefer a 3.55. Do You have them on hand? Thank you for your help. Ted at tjthor@gmail.com or 9092601348
