Thank you John Jr. The guy that bought my GN wants to attend for the first time. I'll pass info onto him.

    Thanks Zach

Is Wednesday just TnT? Thrashing my turbo t back together for this year, but with no safety equipment I'm confined to running a bracket. I'd still like to make passes and hang out, regardless. Never had it down 1320, only 660.

Wednesday is test and tune but we will also have an all run bracket class as well.

You can make test passes all 4 days.
You can also race all 4 days as there is a class each day for everyone.
As far as safety equipment that is important. Not sure what you are missing for et but that is up to track discretion also. They have been lenient in the past.

The whole drive train combo is new, so I don't know what exactly I'm working with yet. I think it's got upper 10's in it once I get it shaken down and start pushing it, but without a harness/roll bar, I think NHRA wants it to stay slower than 7.50/11.50. It's been a while since I had to check on that, though, so it may have changed. It might keep me out of being the slowest guy trying to qualify for tpb, but I'm fine with slowing it down a little and just having fun. Always have a good time going, and I'm ready to start participating LOL. I have some big block parts I need to liquidate anyways, I have all kinds of excuses to be there!

Totally understand. Come and have fun and just don't draw attention to it during tech or anything else. Let's see what it does first.

Question about arriving at the GS Nationals:

Will we be able to enter the track and park in the pits with Motorhome and trailer on Wednesday evening? I plan to arrive around 7pm, and hoping to be able to park in the pit area and stay in the motorhome during the rest of the event. Plan to enter racing for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Just wanted to confirm the entry process, and the purchasing of race tickets, and if the track allows staying in the pits overnight. It been a while since I have attended the GS Nationals, looking forward to making it back down there this year.

Thanks for keeping this event going.

If I'm correct, they have not allowed anyone to stay in the pits overnight for a long time. Most other events held there it's allowed, but not for the Buick guys..... we must be untrustworthy! LOL
I wish they would allow it.... I for one would love it!!

However...................someone with more sound knowledge of this should answer your question, as my answer is based off of past attendance only.

I just sent a message to "Skyhawk" (John).
It has been a long time since I last attended the Nationals, I didn't have a motorhome then, and always stayed in a hotel.
I have been to Beech Bend raceway recently for other drag racing events, and we always take the motorhome and stay right in the pits.
I can understand this may not be possible with all events, probably an insurance thing?
