Update. Rockers are done with the exception of the roller bearings. Seems no one has them or knows when they will be back in stock. Called T&D where the TA stuff is made and they dont have any either. T&D 's saying they are now using bronze bushings inplace of the bearings. So looks like we'll have to order some bronze and make some. Just another delay.

Damn, that stinks. Anyway you can use the roller bearings out of your old rockers.

I could but was hoping to keep them intact in case another member needed a replacement. We turned a piece of bronze down and made a couple to test fit. Think it will work

KB rockers shafts have some oil grooves in them. I’m guessing that was for the 400 through 69 430 that oiled through the head some early KB rockers had a slight oil groove in the bronze bushing. The later sets did not have any grooves in the bushing, probably because they groove the rockers shaft instead, did you happen to find a way to Oil The roller tips KB’s due not. Still waiting on material. Post office has had it marked "out for delivery" all week. We went there and the counter guy says it's not been delivered to our facility yet. WTF USPS?

Finally !. The material got delivered after ordering form 3 different suppliers. Kenny wasted no time in getting it machined. He had to use his rod hone machine for the final cut and then it broke the leather belt. Got that fixed with a spring to join the ends. Setting up the shafts and making final clearance adjustments. Plan is to assemble the heads onto the engine bolt down the rocker bar and adjust lash then spin the Peterson pump and see how the oiling works.

Its all back together. Oiling worked as it should. Finished the top end assembly yesterday and gave it over night for theRTV on the china walls to fully cure. Will add water and fire it off today 465455608_10231840892698967_4064625497632428175_n.jpg 465053440_10231840889818895_2062265964244341843_n.jpg
