Minor update, I just installed the correct reproduction, stainless steel lug that my daughters gave me for Christmas.
Update, posted in the other thread, heads and rockers have been installed, timing cover, water pump waiting for the intake to come back from getting cleaned up and the oil pan. to have a fitting welded for a temperature gauge.
I had Nick look at the heads to see if there was engineering numbers from Buick. He said he found them.lol
I was going through some buckets today and I found some pictures from the last car show September 1995 before my oldest daughter was born. I had the original window sticker on a passenger side, rear window and had pair of fire stone slicks on the rear. The first two pictures are of my buddies car around the corner. The orange car was originally a GS 350 now has a strong Tom Wagner built 455 under the hood running 12.00 to 11.70.
Reason, I saw the great pictures from the GS nationals of the stage 2 cars particularly the red one. My stage 1 is a low option car from the factory. Power steering and has always had a nasty exhaust note compliments of the KB 107. The factory stage 2 cam is mild compared to the 107. I came across a deal for a hydraulic roller with a nasty idol. I figured I’ll give it a shot and see what kind of power the factory iron stage 2 heads with SPX intake manifold will make. Idle quality is not a concern KB switch pitch 149 wired to the brake pedal +430 gears.
