It would be nice to have a dedicated big body car section for parts listings. Does anybody else get bogged down scrolling through the parts for sale section, page after page, knowing most of it is A body parts, or 455 engine parts? Scrolling through B and C body parts would not only a time saver, but would possibly bring people into a common area where it's just a lot easier to buy what they need, peak interest in these cars, or find the right people to communicate with to do so, whether it's an email, or private message to "just the right person." I know V8Buick has a dedicated area for these, but personally I feel like the big cars take a back burner to the Skylarks etc. Give it some thought please. :)

Okay, I gave it some thought:
It looks like you don't know how to use the Search function of the board.

Go to the Parts for sale section of the board.
Type Electra in the search screen.
    Select Search this forum only.
    Hit the Search button:

This page will show up, the first of 8 pages with Electra related parts [IMG]

I understand what you're saying, and I have used the search feature before. Thread topic aside, the search feature can be hit and miss, and usually is on more websites other than this one. My confidence in it isn't that great in any of them. You are right though, if I type in Electra, I get 20 plus pages I can look through. If I use my car for example, and type in 1976 Electra, I get 25 results. So, since 2009 there has only been 25 items posted for sale? That might be true, but hard to believe. You gotta make sure you search the same topic a bunch of different ways, because you know you're going to get a assortment of different results each time. That's the confidence level though. Who knows, can it be trusted to deliver all related posts? Did I use the right terms, keywords, 76 vs 1976? That was also part of the reason for the suggestion. I appreciate you taking the time to go through the search feature though, and I am sure there are a lot of members using it.

The search function only goes back 10 pages.
So the last post you are able to find when you type in Electra is from August 2018.

But, do you expect that a part is really still for sale 5 years later?
In some of the search results the thread starter is no longer active on the board.

You can search all those 10 pages now, so you're up to date about what was for sale in the last 5 years.
And when you start, from now on, logging into the board by using the New posts URL, you will never miss a new Electra Parts for sale listing [IMG]

I've had some Big Car parts continally listed, for close to six years. Hard to move. Logistics certainly doesn't help. Considering cutting a lot loose, soon, in terms of going to the Scrap Pile. But yes, breaking the for sale sections, as well as parts wanted sections, into sub divisions is a worthy goal. But don't do what the Ames site did, mean create subsections for "modern" cars that take up too much room on the site, and generate little to no traffic.
