  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. 70 Stage One “Boogie” breakdown

It came back from the blaster and the sheetmetal looked incredible. I got it cleaned up and sprayed some block epoxy under it. Now I can get it back down on the chassis and hang the quarters.

    I epoxied the bare metal with a two part black epoxy Valspar DTM. Great coverage. Then I applied the HUD BRIGHT Rubberized HUD 12 undercoating. John Riley turned me onto it. Great coverage. If you want it thicker let just add more coats after it drys.

    I epoxied the underneath first then just kept kept applying until I got the texture I wanted. Honestly I didn’t count. To make it thicker looking you can spray over the material that had dried.
