  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Yes the white with green stripes is mine and is the one that had the funky heads. Michigan is where I call home.

Ok, cool. What’s the story on those heads, if you don’t mind me asking? If I remember correctly the exhaust have huge square’ish ports?

There were 13 Buicks at the race this year (12 big blocks and 1 small block). The Cortez Gold car in the picture above is Joe Shepard from Southgate.

In regards to the heads, the intake ports are the same volume as and flow identical to the Stage 2's. The exhaust ports are modified versions of the production heads. The bolt pattern is the same as the production heads, the bottom of the port is identical to the production heads, however the upper 3/4 of the port is considerably larger. I will attempt to get pictures from my phone to post here.

Unfortunately I did not take many pics. These are the only pics i took that i sent to the parents. Was too busy having fun visiting with fellow racers that I see once per year, helping other racers, cooking lunch and running the car.

Donny Brass has some video on Facebook as most likely do others. Should be some video popping up on you tube soon.
