That is correct just cut an “X”.

    Brett,
I don’t think my originals would be classified as anything more then that. If you wanted a good original set you will have to look elsewhere.

At this point, I'm not gonna stand in a bread line and ask for toast.

I'll wait until you (hopefully) make another batch.

Lol ! Buy 2 kits and trim to fit if there should be no hole in the one piece. Bet for 15 bucks you can't even buy the material.

That is the standard 7 piece kit with the large hole in the center piece.

The only cars that kit is correct for would be a 68 GS & Skylark, and a 69 Skylark only, not a GS.

For all the other models the hole in the middle part is too big and is not correct, so it would not be correct for any 70-72 GS or Skylark and the center piece is too thin to fit the 69 GS hood. (All the center piece will do is flop around in there, due to the hood being raised up in the center.)
Not to mention the side pieces are also not cut correctly.

This is exactly what I have tried to get the manufacturer to change for the last 20 years and finally gave up, and made the correct pieces for those that cared.

If you guys are more interested in saving a few dollars rather then getting what is correct, I think you should have at it, and I won’t have to make any of these kits up.

The only repro parts I trust & seem to be worth it are the ones Buick guys have stepped up to make. I'm in no hurry but hurry up and make some:).
