I've started thinking about my next Buick. On the trip to the ROA meet in Lexington the wife mentioned that she would like to have a convertible and if she had her own car she might be more interested in the car hobby/car show thing so that got me thinking about what I might want, which does not necessarily translate into what she would want. But its a starting point, almost an open door to buy another car. So what I started thinking of a Wildcat Vert with a 4 speed and air. I'm not really thinking about a full on project but something pretty much complete and ready to drive. It might be a yr or more before I'm ready to pull the trigger. Just putting out the feelers. Any of you got any leads?
I have a 65 wildcat, much has been done to the car. Painted back to orig Verde Green, new white top, new black interior, complete brakes, fuel system, tires , NOS center caps. new timing chain, carb, gaskets, and many new parts on the engine. The power acc are as follows. Automatic, Air, Steering, Brakes, tilt, AM/FM windows including Vents, Trunk, seat, buckets, console w column shift. Needs the weather seals on doors, windows and roof PM me if you have any interest . I tried to attach a pic, and I can not seem to figure out how to get it attached.
Been a few years but finally brining it home. More of a project than I first wanted to get into but will be worth it when done
Nice big classy Buick. Good job Briz, a Wildcat and a convertible is like killing two birds with one stone. Congrats man.
I was hoping that you would post a pic of it on the trailer with the quarter panels sticking out the back window and the rest lashed to the trunk. I bet you didn't have too many tailgaters on your trip home. Other than the quarters and roof, is the rest solid? Are the pans and trunk good or do they need doing as well?
