Boats put away, had time to get stuff done. Oil pressure is great. Stock cover, stock gears, .0015 clearance. 180* At 1,100 idle. Startup vid ...... Sound vid.....
Thanks guys! They are 3 chamber, 17" long Flowmasters, came with the whole American Thunder system. All mandrel 2-1/2", I cut the N25 tips off at the 2-1/2" dia. mark and welded 14" of 2-1/2" pipe back on them. Kit came with two tailpipe options, N-25 & turn down. Yours won't sound like this without this cam & 11-1 ....
This is close to the Biggest Mutha Thumper, roller version, 107lsa, 247/255. You guys don't like those.... Did not take piston pics. .031 over
Im beginning to wonder how well my irons were "ported" yeeeeeeers ago I had Gellner Engineering install the bigger TA valves, and do the bowl work, and port work, BUT they're a Chevy shop Back in the early '90s I didn't know about any Buick shops, let alone any that would take the 350 Buick seriously. When I picked up my heads, the young guy that did them had HUGE Crane valve springs on the heads, and he machined the spring seat too deep, they used seats for aluminum heads to bring the spring back up, plus my TA rollers wouldn't clear the fat Crane springs Had I known then what I know now
Have to give TA a big thumbs up on their SP3. Big difference on starting, idling, and response with this 35 degree overlap cam. Just what it needed.
How come your camera is shaking like it has a cam in it. Sounds nasty SP3 makes for easy start, mine will try to start without even giving it any gas.
