So Sweet. Ryan, That car is so special and thanks for being the next caretaker. Bill has to be proud.. Im sure you have thought about cleaning it up with a powermaster internal regulated one wire alternator and lose the voltage regulator off the fire wall?....
I am proud. But my pride is humbled by my happiness. I'm happy that 3AC has a good home and an owner that will care for her the way I did when I was able. I garnered many years of enjoyment working on and building her, driving her and showing her. Now it's Ryan's turn. I've been following this thread closely and I like everything he is doing. Thanks Ryan, thanks Dave.
Yeah Gary I called Tim to see if he was coming down to NC and could get them from you but he was unable to come this year because they canceled racing. I think I am going to come up to see Bill soon and if I do I would like to meet up with you to get the trophies if that would be alright with you.
Decided to paint the marker light houses a iron color. I didn’t care for the Black behind the bumper. The lights I painted aluminum.
Going back together with cleaned, painted, and powder coated parts. I had some good working original T3 headlights so I put them in.
Yeah poor dave has really gone way overboard with helping me get this car on the road again. I owe him big time and I plan to help him when he gets started on his restoration of the 1969 GS400 4spd Convertible he is going to restore. I am very thankful he lives so close (less than 5 miles away ) and willing to help me. I will also say Dave has taught me so much !!! He is a wealth of knowledge.
