Nice, that looks like something out of the Buick brochure. Great picture. We have snow on the ground today.
Uhhh - yeah. I took a picture from a different angle... Trunk floor from under the car is pretty well preserved above where the tank sat and really not too bad either side.
Technically, this was from last weekend but the car isn't around this weekend, took a little trip for some sprucing up.
It appears you are missing a spacer between ladder bar mounts on axle tubes. Bolts should not be visible. I had a few sets of these over the years.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to look for or make the spacers. I dont believe I ever got the spacers.
Ashamed that the current condition is dusty and bored. I haven’t had a chance to drive this year between rain and house renovations.
Dust over rust.. I’ll remember that one. Garage stays good and dry, never under 40 degrees. I like to think it’s a decent enough place for the GS to live.
I did drive GS yesterday to my godfather's house about 45 minutes away. But spent the day on the Impala Repainted steering wheel. Gave the interior a good scrub along with door jams and dash also a bath. She is ready for cruising this week and doctor appointments and physical therapy.
Mine don't have a spacer as well and when you look up the pdf on installation,it shows nothing for a spacer...https://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/600/620/620-20460.pdf
