I Have Now Officially Checked Every Where I Can Think Of For This Build Sheet. (ex-cluding Droping The Gas Tank) ANY IDEAS Is There Anywhere You Can Get 1 Made? Also A Window Sticker?
I'm in the same boat. I have a well optioned original 69 GS 400 4 speed. Can't find one anywhere, not even under the tank:rant: I don't think anyone will make one, which in this day makes since, otherwise think of the cars that would start showing upo No: I did find some information attached under the bucket seats, looks like that's all I'm going to get:ball: Oh well, I know it's real and it's not going anywhere for a long, long time:beer Rich
I decode original buildsheets for guys that want to know how their cars were originally optioned, however I refuse to "create" a buildsheet for a car. If you ever see any of my "reproduction" sheets at a show, you can be assured the info was taken off a real sheet and is in fact correct. If you go to my website, you will see info on what I do. Duane
And I understand why, I appreicate it. What can the little piece of paper, found under the bucket seat, tell you? I suppose that's not enougho No: That's all I can find, I'm the second owner and know it's original. Like I said, it doesn't matter, the car is mine, all mine:Brow: :3gears: Are you getting PM's? Have you received my check for the two sail panel lens? I notice the check has not been cashed, but I sent it awhile agoo No: Thanks, Rich
Rich, The small sheet under the front seat is what I often refer to as a "cheat sheet". It was used so the workers knew which options to install while they were building the body shell. Sorry I didn't respond to your e-mails. Lately I have been bombarded with PM, e-mail, and phone call questions, and there is no way I can answer them all, plus work full time, get some parts shipped, build a set of BPG judging rules, and still get something done on my own car. I figured your questions would be answered once you got your parts. Duane PS. The parts are already on their way to you. I sent them before I cashed your check. I figured you were good for the money.
Never heard that expression before but that's a cool one :TU: I found this in my front buckets : Is it what you refer as a "cheat sheet" ? and 2 more under the rear seat : This one match the GM Canada info :TU: But no built sheet yet o No:
That last picture is basically the buildsheet. If you un-scroll it completely, so I can see all the info and post the info from the ID plate on the body, plus your Vin # I could probably figure everything out. Duane PS. Buildsheets come in a variety of sizes and types, depending on the year and prod plant.
Thanks! I wasn't sure with the new SW and I forgot to mark check receipt:Comp: Appreicate the parts! Rich
Thank you Duane , I have my documentation from GM Canada from my VIN and I can found all the RPO code that was on the picture on it except 1 or 2 that I have no idea .... My ID plate on the body is missing is there any other location than near the firewall , driver side ? I never found it but everything match .
I think you have it with that last picture! Mine is a hand written. I'll post a picture when I get home, one the road again. Rich
Donald, If you can get me copies of all the info you have on the car, ie buildsheet pic, vin #, GM of Canada info, etc, I can probably help you with some info. Also include your phone number, plus times to call, so we can communicate if necessary. Was your car built in Oshua (spelling)? Here is my info, Classic Car Interiors 120 President Ave. Rutledge, Pa. 19070 Rich, If your sheet is handwritten, that is what I call the "cheat sheet". If it's the one I am thinking about your car was probably built at Flint.

Here is the only paper that the mice didn't eatou: Looks like scribble to me, can you make anything out of it? o No: Thanks, Rich
Rich, If you post a picture of the ID plate on the firewall I can tell you what everything on that sheet means. Duane
