I have some major adjustment issues to work out, but it kind of moves! I adjusted the linkage per the chassis manual, but reverse doesn’t want to fully return to neutral. I also need to adjust the clutch.
Looks awesome! I love the low key look of the new wheels. I'm curious, what color is your car? I never knew what mine was but it looks pretty similar!
Sorry for the thread highjack, but do our cars look like the same color? I'm not great with colors in general . . .
Vet is correct, my car is aquamist although it’s not the original color of the car. It is a 1970 Buick color though. No worries on the hijack. Your color doesn’t resemble a Buick color to me. Post your trim tag
I'd post my trim tag but I know that this is a repaint by the previous owner, I know that car was brown before! I've always been searching for the paint code, I should probably get the info from the shop that did it but it was over 15 years ago so they may not know either!
Most good body shops have a color spectrum analyzer that they put on the paint surface of your car and can tell you the color of the paint. I have a shop that did this for a older Mercedes to match the paint after it was in an accident. I was amazed, a perfect color match. This was done at a Honda body/paint shop. Vet
This should solve the mystery of your pain color. It's such an unusual color, I like it. I'am not sure, but it might be a Cadillac color. Has that luxury look to it. Vet
I think your paint is a 1991 Cadillac Heather Firemist. Check out the top left paint color of the top 3 paint colors. If it's not, it's very close. Vet
Interesting! I'll have to ask my girlfriend who can actually see colors well haha, thanks for the info!
Original deluxe back seat and original deluxe rear upper door panels installed. Both sourced through this board and from different cars. Neither perfect, but fit in well with the rest of the car. Dynamat is good stuff too.
nope, pretty much peel and stick! I did buy the rubber roller they sell to make it a little easier, but you definitely don’t need
You can adhere this over dynamat for thermal insulation. see link below. Heat Protection and Thermal Insulation For Your Car | Dynaliner | Dynamat
While it’s probably better than nothing, its intended use is for sound deadening. The product Vet linked is something I will consider if the heat is too much, but honestly I’ve never had a real issue with heat thrown from the other cars that I used a cheap alternative sound deadener.
