Beautiful car I love black cars but I can't keep clean but one of the best looking colors when clean for sure . Best of luck and awesome job .
I'm quoting myself to update the comment, to say that I don't think that the price is too high, just that I'm going to have to have a lot of money. Overriding the wife means that I'll be looking for another place to live. It'll be worth it! GLWS, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed in the meantime.
Been there before,I was looking for a project/ driver car when I found this .it was to nice to pass up .it needed a new interior and basic touch up from sitting in one car collection to another have the original 14x6 rally wheels and 775x14 firestone redline tires also picked up a 65 sp 400 out of a riv but car is just to original to mess with.Jim
Beautifu car bos...So I'm reading this as asking $49k ona 20yr+ old resto? Or is it a typo, and the full frame off was done in 2020? Shes a stunner regardless.
This was the car in 2002 with 62,500 miles ,I got it last year with 63,000 miles on it put 1,000+ miles on it and over the winter put a complete new interior, cleaned the bottom and added a few extras ,including tach wheels&tires, wheelwell moldings, radio, windows and more. So once the car was done in 02 it just was stored in one collection to another. Jim
my god is that a beautiful car. buick nailed it with that one. not a vinyl top guy but would not want this car without one. also a huge fan of the black and white tuxedo interior! i have no idea what market value is on 65's. but will be checking today as i am interested. couple questions as i no very little on early buicks. what engine/trans are in it hp/tq? what gear does it have? what does not work or operate correctly. thanks charlie,
Hi,401 325hp 445 torque 300sp trans , 3:8 posi, everything works.hgh priced but add up what it would cost to build one like this .all new underneath, arms, springs, bushings, tierods, steering box, exhaust, brakes and more redone motor, carb all the little stuff, jim
Agree on the top. I'd love to own a '65 or '66 someday but like you, don't know anything about them & if I had the $ would be worth paying for the right car. The buildsheet is awesome as are the colors (had a black truck once - Never again for a daily driver) and options.
If you have a cool car (which you do) and you don't drive it, it's like having a hot girlfriend and saving her for the next guy. Drive it! PS - If I were in the market right now, I would buy it and drive the wheels off of it.
