My bad. The GS is located in Houston, Texas and the starting price is $16,500. I will load the Sloan docs in a minute
Thanks! Never seen an automatic GS (maybe not even a 4-sp.) w/so few options and never seen one marked "fleet." Silver mist w/no vinly top is pretty odd as well. Still invoiced a little higher than my low option '70 GS 350 4-sp. I wonder what the "2/0" means. My car has that same designation. I love the low option/oddball GSs & this sure is. If didn't already have too many this sure would be a neat one put back to orig.
Yes, 128 is the base black bench/no armrest interior. From the OP's other theead it looks like the interior was changed. Also never seen one orig. equipped with Deluxe Wheelcovers & OWL tires. That would look sharp. My 1st GS back in '84 had that combo (aftermarket tires of course) and it looked good.
Interesting. While the VIN is only 18 digits earlier, the body numbers are THOUSANDS different and the invoice date for my car is a day earlier. GM had some strange stuff going on back then...
Well, there are a few good ones (F41, gauges/tach, 4-sp, etc. come to mind. Even Disk Brakes, G60-15, rallye steering wheel). This car is so intriguing - Esp. the automatic/manual steering aspect. Wish I had the time/space/$ to buy/restore. I'd have to add gauges/tach but I think that's the only change I'd make to orig.
Does anyone know if this car has sold? The seller doesn’t seem to have been back on the Board in a little while.
