Depends on the car and how you drive. Stock is just fine for the factory builds and redline, up to as high as about 6K. So good for most builds. Doesn't have to be from a 300 though, it can be a 340 or 350, and I've heard that a V6 flywheel is the same though I can't confirm that. If someone on here could that would be very good, as that would increase the availability of suitable wheels considerably. Used prices had been around $75-$150 last time I looked but finding one hasn't always been easy. The TA wheels run more in the $400-$500 range depending on material and are billet so good for unlimited rpm. They have 3 different off the shelf weights, and I like the light weight steel personally, I think it is 26lbs. Jim
I've been told that the V6 flywheel is balanced differently, however, I've had the same flywheel on a 300, then 340, then 225 V6 (in that order) with no problem. The V6 flywheel is heavier, something they did to smooth out the rough idle of the odd fire V6. I have a V6 flywheel I'd sell for $100 plus shipping.
