I doubt the '68 will sell for $30k and arguably if you take a comparable '68 vs '69 IMHO the '69 is worth a little more. Hard to say in this case w/o a lot more details on both but the pic you posted looks like a nice car. Where was/is it posted? I like this '68's color combo if orig. and that it's pretty loaded w/options but no A/C.
Agreed.68 hood is a factory hood with a add on.69 is awsomeand i love 68s more still. But im a stepchild lover 100%

Sure does as does the description of it being "well optioned" Wouldn’t bother me per se if it was fixed correctly & for about $20k IMHO it'd be a great deal.
To my knowledge the wrecked car needed a new frame from rust also. The owner of the wrecked car is a great guy and i have kept in contact with him until recently. I beleive he only paid 10k and needed a new tire.
To me, the 69 is too plain, I like a little more bling that the 68 has along with the vent windows Never really liked the '69 grill or the blacked out speedometer/radio dial. Equal 68/69, I would take the 68. Personal opinion but no one was defending the '68's I could forget all about that for a 69 Stage 1 though....
I pm’d the owner when it was first wrecked about him fixing it or selling me the whole car. Never got a response. (I figured it was fixable, at least to ‘driver’ condition, without too much grief). Patrick
He sold the whole car fairly cheap amd the new buyer listed it for arpund 7k of i remmeber correctly. Im unsure if its the same car. I can try and see if he has any of his old registrations for vin checks
Both the wrecked car and the other one have a non-stock antenna base, not the same but both are non stock. Could be just a coincidence.
I've had a couple '69 Sportwagons and used a '68 grille in them. I always kinda liked the '68 hood too. Shame the dealer accessory Ram Air setup never made it into production.
I've only ever see a pic once but I assume that's it! Thanks Frank - Besides the one linked below, not sure a '68 is ever in my future but out of morbid curiosity can you post a pic of the kit & the price? https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?t...-4-sp-last-call-before-its-parted-out.369810/
