I've seen this car, Dano. GSjo restored it. The guy here that bought it got it from that place down South. The guy who bought it seemed to have bought it on a whim. I only saw it a few times at a cruise I go to. Joe did a great job on this one, it's really a pretty car with the painted roof. I think this one got a real battery, too! When I saw it last it needed nothing. That was a few years ago, though.
This car is just killer, Frank. I was just floored when I first saw it. Joe had a similar car at BG a few years ago, and this car was nicer. I'd be over there like right now trying to buy it, but I don't want any more cars.
I didn't even realize it was a painted top car. Just saw it & put the link up. Barely scrolled through the pics. Will have to go back and look a little closer now. With the $ a few GS 455's have been bid up to @ auction lately and the current (hot) market, this one should sell being ad nice as you say it is.
Another good one ending up at a dealer. Too bad it wasn't posted here first. Wonder what the guy ended up selling it for.
I think it was originally a stripper, Frank and probably had doggies. It seems some stuff was added. You could tell it was a low mile car. Except for some small stuff, it looked showroom. Joe does great work, but this one seemed to fit together really well. Chris is better than I at history lessons, but here's the old ad. I think it sold for maybe 10K more than now, maybe 5- years ago. The thing is, this car was finished , Max. https://www.rkmotors.com/vehicles/1991/1970-buick-gs455
