Jason, Buick used both but as shown in the photo they're showing a hex bolt with 2 Conical Toothed Washers so that is what my kits have. I can supply the Carriage style as well although to date nobodies requested them - mainly due to them "spinning" in the frame while being tightened. I believe most like being able to put a socket on each end when tightening. Either is correct and available . . . .
Hi Todd , i would like you to get me couple of complete kits for 2 1970s vehicles, front & rear Please
Sounds good. I'll put them with your other items. Wiper Motors are due in soon then we should be all set.
Todd FYI, Flint used the carriage bolts GMAD used the regular bolt and washer set-up with the extra “toothed” washer. It shows this right on the diagram you posted. It even shows the extra washer for the GMAD only cars. I know they did this for 69-72. Duane
That’s fine. If you label your sets Flint and GMAD, and ask your customers where their cars were built, you should save a lot on returns. Plus you could help educate the public with something they may not have been aware of. You will also alleviate a bunch of problems on the show field, as the bumper-frame bolts are one of the things we look at. Just trying to help. Duane
