Had the same car, SS Wagon in gold in the mid-80s with a factory 350 automatic combo. Had the same neat turbine wheels too. I’ve never even one time seen another one until this listing. Love to know the actual production numbers.
I wish there were under hood and interior pictures, I would be very interested for sure, I love cool and unusual
I agree. So strange that the thing that makes this car the most rare and appealing is the 454 and yet there is no photo of it.
Just like the 2 door SS Chevelle my 350 SS wagon had the round gauge cluster w/tach and full instrumentation. Neat car but the smog 350 was a total dog, The smog 454 ought to do a little better...... Steve weim55 Colorado
I had a friend in high school who had a black '73 Laguna Estate (wagon) with a 454, wood siding and a white interior. I wish I had bought that back in the day.
Just after high school I had purchased a '74 Laguna Type S3 with a 454 4-speed. All original total numbers matching from head to toe. Even orginal PolyGlass tires. Cool swivel buckets. Learned after selling it, Chevy produced less than 10 with the 454 and 4-speed. Damn, still kicking myself.
It’s a shame how many ‘73 and newer cars were junked because the loud (often chebbie) voices said ‘nothing from that era will ever be collectible’. Patrick
Not a big block but found this one yesterday, I dig the grey woodgrain treatment: https://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/cto/d/la-mesa-chevrolet-laguna-wagon/7259247033.html Chevrolet Laguna Wagon - $14,500 (La Mesa) image 7 of 16 1973 Chevrolet Laguna Wagon. A guy that I used to work with had a Laguna S3, 454, swivel buckets, white w/red interior. He had bought it new and was still driving it to work in the 90's. It was a beautiful car and he took great care of it. One day it was stolen out of the parking lot and never seen again.
Bought several pallets of ‘73 chevelle parts a decade or more ago from the u pull it’s. Couldn’t sell a darn thing. Offed the entire load finally 18 months ago. Dumped it. No value.
