Those were only available to Buick owners who transplanted Chevy engines. Seriously though, never seen those! Kool!
Correct, I sold a set a couple of years ago. Didn't know they existed until I found them in a pile of random caps a local guy was selling.
There is a local 68 Nova running a set of these..I have seen them on a blue 69 Z28 too..Something different....
From what I was told from an salvage yard owner who does primarily older cars. He said in 64 or 65 they put them on Belairs, Biscaynes, and Impalas. The bigger Chevy cars. This was only for the one year.
Cool. While on topic of dog dishes, what do people usually do to repaint the black parts? 2 of mine are looking tired..
IMG_0543 by MikeM posted Dec 1, 2017 at 5:43 AM I like them too. Even though I don't think that they were available on a Stage1, I dig the look of the poverty caps.
They were definitely available on Stage 1 cars. If the original owner cheaped out on selecting a wheel option, that's what they got.
I bought a couple N.O.S. sets for my 67 20 plus years ago, I wanted to own each wheel/wheel cover option that was available on it so I could run different looks, they are the only ones I have’t run on it though
I thought that the chrome rallye wheels were part of the Stage1 package or required. Thanks for letting me know. But I have to be honest, a bit skeptical. Are you sure about that? The report for the build for this car says that it came with the rallye wheels.
